Which scene has the most cuts? The Psycho shower scene or the Sugar Ray Robinson/Jake La Motta fight scene? Battle of the Cuts: Psycho vs. Raging Bull.

When Martin Scorsese and Thelma Schoonmaker edited the scene in Raging Bull where Sugar Ray Robinson beats the hell out of Jake La Motta, they were heavily influenced by the classic shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
